114 - 19th Century Turkish Miquelet Musket with Ornamental Brass Inlay and Bands Securing The Damascus Patterned Barrel to the Wood Frame. Unique to this Musket is the Fived-Sided Stock Along with an Octagonal Cut to the Outside of the Barrel with Heptagonal Rifled Bore. The Exact Caliber is Unknown, but Appears to be Just Under .50 Caliber or 12mm. A Full Length Barrel Plunger is Housed Inside the Frame Beneath the Barrel. The Miquelet Style Lock and Trigger Mechanisms are in Good Working Order. The Outside of the Barrel is Stamped with Islamic Hallmarks in Two Places. The Overall Condition is Very Good with Minor Splits to Wood Under the Barrel and a Light Layer of Surface Rust on the Barrel, Rear Sight, and Miquelet Style Lock and Trigger Mechanisms.
