93 - 18th Century Embellished Chinese Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) White Jade Bianfang or Rectangular Hair Ornament/ Hairpin Etched Throughout with Lotus Flower Motif and Inlaid with Green Jadeite, Lapis, Pink Tourmaline, Rock Crystal and Jade. Known as a bianfang, it forms part of the qi tou or headdress of Manchu ladies of rank and worn across the top of the headdress to stiffen the frame. Unsigned. Very Good Condition or Better.
